1992 Bronco XLT

Pros: Large vehicle with lots of room for the family.
Cons: Low gas mileage in a time of expensive gas, and backseat access.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to the person who can use the room of a larger vehicle with out the extreme size of some SUV's out there.

We purchased our Bronco over a year ago now and enjoy it alot. It has been very reliable, though with only 32K miles on it at the time of purchase I wouldn't expect otherwise. Needing a 4X4 in the area we lived in it was a great choice for us, with the touch 4X4 it has been easy for my wife to use without feeling awkward about it. With two small kids it can at times be a challenge to get them both in the backseat, being that it only has two doors. But the power of the 5.8 Ltr and the nice ride (even on a truck that has had a 6" lift installed at 500 miles) has been great. Putting 10K miles on it in the last year we have had no problems at all, and don't expect any for a long time. My wife at first was a bit apprehensive about the size but has adjusted to it with no problem, and even likes the fact that people seem to get out of the way. Having a father who was a Ford mechanic for 30yrs. and has seen all the problems with the different models, tell us we really haven't broken this vehicle in yet, and can expect to enjoy this truck for some years to come.
