Pros: Smooth ride, great acceleration, roomy interior, classy
Cons: Gas guzzler, more luxury items=more things to break
Our 1993 Deville was purchased at a lower cost from a friend one year after it was bought new, and was the only reason for it coming to our family. Even though we had it for nearly 8 years and amassed a whopping 102,000 miles, it was more problems than it was worth. Granted the V8 engine and huge leather seats made for a ride worthy of royalty but 20 gallons of gas equates to quite a bill at the local Shell station. Here are the reasons elderly people deserve this car who aim to drive less than 10,000 miles a year:
--Handling is effortless, with awesome power steering
--Roomy interior and climate control, complete with electronic leather seats
--The car is a tank if you hit something
Anyone else should use caution before taking the dive into the world of luxury automobiles. You don't want to get the reputation of an incompetent driver in a big Caddy.
