When shopping for a vehicle I went to several dealers and found the Ford vehicles competive in price but it really went down to being able to trust in its realibility and the sales price. The dealership worked well with me on a final purchase price. Since becoming an owner of a Ford truck I have been continually satisfied with their product and service rendered at the service department. Being an owner of a F150 I can attest to the reliability of the vehicle though it burns gas like the old firebirds automobile it is a very good vehicle. The maintenance has been low to nonexistent. Friends have warned that as it gets older it will become more problems. But every vehicle I have owned has only been as good as it owner's maintenance. We'll see if they are right. Highway traveling is considered better than that of city driving. It only averages about 15 miles in the city whereas it averages about 20 or so miles on highway driving. The truck itself is comfortable for one or two people but anymore than that become real crampy. The paint is not real good and tends to fad and crack due to the weather conditions.
