I bought my 94 as a one owner used car in 2000. I have now owned it for 8 years and have 191,000 miles on it. It has been an absolute joy to drive and it gets Excellent gas mileage. I have the S model (base model) with the 1.5l engine and have had very few problems. I have replaced the cv axles and the shift linkage. Other than these two items, the only other maintenance I have done is the timing belt (twice, very important maintenance as this is an interference engine), oil changes and brake jobs and the occasional battery. I had illusions of making 200,000 miles on the factory clutch but just this week she started slipping. This car has never needed a water pump, radiator, alternator, starter or even struts! Surprisingly, the struts feel just as tight as the day I bought it. Maybe the low vehicle weight? The only complaints I have had, other than two seats for a guy with a wife and three kids :), is that the seals for the door and removable roof allow a good bit of rattle, road and wind noise while driving at highway speeds. Even the 1.5l base model has enough pep to zip in and out of traffic.

Overall, I love this car. If you are looking for something unique and fun I would highly recommend the Honda del Sol.
