Eye catcher and fun to drive. For a lower-priced sports car this auto has a lot to offer. The model I drive is the 5 speed manual base model (not GT).

Pros:

Interior-
The interior is small but well designed. Cockpit engineering on the part of toyota gives easy driver access to instrumentation. Sleek, modern flowing form with no hard edges. 8 out of 10 rating

Exterior-
Even though this car is not a newer model, it still looks very fresh. It is often mistaken by others for 1998 or 99! The high beam and low beam headlights are separate from each other and are eyelet-recessed creating a smooth front end. Complete with a rear spoiler, from front to back this car has good, clean, flowing lines. Very aerodynamic form. The complete form seems to make it appear moving when it is not. 9 out of 10

Performance-
Shifts very well- clean and solid. Acceleration is responsive. Solidly build with no annoying rattling. Steering is likewise solid. It handles very well. 7.5 out of 10

Cons:

Power-
I wish it was the GT model. Although the engine runs great and acceleration is responsive, it is lacking in some power and its bark, or looks, is louder that its bite. This car won't fare too well at stop lights against more expensive sports cars.

Air Conditioning-
Maybe it's just my car but cold air output when in less than highway flowing traffic seems low. Even with AC on air comes out lukewarm temperature.

Space-
Not built for a family. The passenger seats in back are meant for short rides only or for smaller people. Not much headroom. The front, though, is much better. Still not meant for larger-built people. Trunk storage space is adequate for most needs.

Overall-
I would highly recommend this vehicle for someone who wants a sporty car but doesn't want to pay the price for it. It is very enjoyable to drive, has a quite a stylish appearance, and feels like it will be on the road for a very long time.
