Del Sol Vtec = SWEETNESS

by gcrockin: Written: Mar 29 '04

Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Removable top, great gas mileage.
Cons: Breaks a little soft, a little noisy.
The Bottom Line: You should get it becuase you'll regret it if you dont.

This is a must have. I mean come on, who doesnt want a car where you can take the removable top off, and let the wind run through your hair. I have to admit, i look pretty sexy in this car. And its going to last me for a long time. Its 9 years old right now and its still running like beauty.

Interior: Nice style racing seats, adjustable to fit a full sized man, but still able to be driven by a 5 footer. Rear compartments, able to be locked, can fit cd's, maps, flashlights, first Aid and other things. A little cramped in but still a little spacious. It is very easy to keep clean. The option on my car is no AC, which is pretty bad but with going with my windows down all the time to keep cool, the wind gets a little aggravating.

Exterior: Looks Terrific! Able to be modified with aftermarket body kits, spoilers, lights. The del sol looks pretty sexy. The retail paint has kept in good condition, nothing has been rusting or breaking off.

Stability: This car will last you a long time, with a 30-40 mile range per gallon of gas, depending on whether your a heavy driver, it gets you to where you need to go without going to the station every week. I go about every 2 weeks, and i am a little on the heavy driving side. This car is very easy to keep in good condition, so your able to resell it after your ready to move on. The timing belt does need to be replaced about every 70k-80k miles.

Why? why should you get one, because you'll be addicted, im addicted and i love it, im now able to get somewhere fast, while looking sexy, and still being safe. The trunk is spacious being able to hide away the removable top, but still being able to put your luggage in it. This is a wonderful car and this is a must have.
