it took me 2 years to finaly find my 1995 olds cutlass convertible, i found it in boca raton fl it was a one owner garage kept and only 60000 mile on it, of all the rag tops on the road i wanted something different and this 95 olds with only 3300 ever made fit the bill, every time i take it out on only sunny days i get compliments and questions on the "machine" its got it all even and alarm bell if i forget my signal lignt on, i upgraded the stock cassette only stereo for the combo oldsmobile cassette and cd and replaced the timing belt just to be safe and i put about 3000 glorious mile on it a year sure it doesnt have a foreign name plate and its not cool according to mtv to drive american but ill take my olds over any miata and company on any given sunny day.
the car drives like an arrow, nible, precise in steering, takes a corner as good as my sons beamer, the seats keeps you in command at all times and the original rag top goes up and down in less than 72 seconds. So far i got 2 random offers to buy it off me when i go to the beach or the warf its just that special, i live in a town of 200 000 and i know of only 2 other olds like mine and of course they re not 95s, its an affordable collector car that is practical and fun as any new car out there
gas milage is excellent by upgrading the spark plugs to bosh platinum 4 spark plugs, they cost an arm and a leg but youll notice perfomance and gas mileage improvements immediately as long as you have good compression readings. the 95 interior is second to none with button easely understood and operated, the driver/passenger seperate digital climate control is great if your woman is cold all the time
