I bought my 1995 Toyota 4runner used. It handles very well, and is in good shape. There are a few problems with minor things though. I have had one problem with the rear window. I bought the car used, and it came from Illinois, so there is alot of road salt on the road, thus it got down in the tracks of the back window, and rusted one of the tracks. The track recently broke off when I was rolling down the back window. I now have to replace that window. The only other problem I have ever had with it, is the installation of aftermarket speakers and CD player. It is a PAIN to install anything, as all Toyota's make it hard to install. To install an aftermarket cd player, one must take the ENTIRE dash off to get to all the neccesary wiring. All the dash pieces are interconnected. To install the front speakers, you must take the whole dash of except for the center piece. The back speakers are even harder to install, as one must take almost half the car's interior paneling off to get to the speakers. Other than these two problems, the SUV is a GREAT VEHICLE. It is very dependable, and will last for a long time. It handle GREAT for a 4WD vehicle. I am very happy with it's performance.
