Beth,

When you write a review, the product is REVIEWED. Wow, you really do a comprehensive job and cover all the details. And you do it smartly. Bravo.

I completely understand your attachment to your car. I feel the same way about my Mooshmobile, I've replaced it, but I'm turning down reasonable offers on it because I just can't let go. :)

Thanks for a great review of the Forkidsmobile. Of course, all your reviews are fabulous. It almost makes me sick. :)

Why didn't you list the stats at the beginning?

Engine size/168@6200 rpm
torque 162@3300 rpm
compression ratio 10.5:1

I mean who could resist?

I have no idea what they mean, but as long as someone can fix them and you're willing to take a COD, I'll buy.

I'm with Erika! This was a wonderful "comfy" review on your "old friend." Sometimes selling a beloved car CAN BE an emotional experience.... they have helped you to create so many treasured memories and have held your family during so many conversations...

Your remarks about the "Dual Set of Temperature Controls" had me laughing out loud and thinking about my wonderful husband who always pushes ALL vents in my direction.

A great review!

You'd have a tough time selling it in Phoenix... (Reply to this comment)

Those leather seats you love so much become torture devices in our pretty much year-round heat. Everyone here gets velour, and is thankful we have the option. I hear ya on the spills issue, though.

My condolences. I'm about to sell my first car ever -- '87 Honda Civic -- and I've been dragging my feet. I just can't let go!

Joan

Curtsy to your comments, Vara and appreciate that coming from an auto expert. I will try and include all of the pertinent info but I don't necessarily understand all of the stats but a kind prompt will make me scramble, I promise.

Thank you!

I'll buy it if you'll drive it out here? Stay a week? huh huh?
Great review.
I almost bought one years ago, have always loved them, and love that it has never spun you out. I live in constant fear of black ice, spinning out, and "losing control"....even in Summer, of course.

I personally disagree with jaywa. Yes, we car buffs love to read stats, but I think it would be unfair to expect everyone else to speak fluent "Automobilese". Another reviewer once put it perfectly: "I couldn't tell a cam from a ham if my life depended on it," he said. His review was excellent. In sum, if anyone else is reading this, fancy numbers are not a prerequisite (for me, at least). Were that the case, I would be one harsh critic (and I'm already strict as it is)! Moreover, if someone wants to know the stats so bad, Edmunds.com is just a click away.

As for you,"forkids", I admire you for your prompt and kind response to the comment: it shows a lot of class. This doesn't surprise me of course, as you're one of the site's premier reviewers (even though I'm tucked away here in Autoland, don't think I haven't noticed!) :)

Your review was masterfully done, with wonderful attention to detail. It gets an instant "HR" from me.

Well done!

Best,
Daniel

Thanks Jay, though it is listed under the specifications link I'm off to edit now. Thanks for the heads up and for being so kind and gentle.

Great Review... (Reply to this comment)

... but you left out the engine size and how much horsepower it has. I usually don't HR car reviews that don't have those because I feel they are very instrumental for people to know when looking for car, but your review was way too thorough and informative to not HR it. Very nice job. Keep it up!

Best,
Jay
