I own a GS-R sedan, but I think it fits in this category just fine. I'm the second owner. It currently has 84k miles on it (today is 30-Apr-2004). I bought it on Feb of 2000 when it had 34k miles. The clutch needed to be replaced at 70k (cost $600 to fix), the radiator started leaking at 65k (cost $350 to fix), and had the 60k service, but these are expected and I could've avoided break down if I had taken preventive measures and replaced them before-hand. I haven't had any other problems with this car at all. Just gas it up and go. Speaking of which...
The acceleration is awesome for a relatively small engine (1.8L I-4). I've had people think that this car was powered by a V-6. The power is lacking below 4000 RPM, but after that it's a steady rush all the way to 8000 RPM limit. The engine sound near the red line is fantastic.
It brakes quite well also. I occasionally (and safely) stomp on the brake from 60 MPH to test it out and it performs nicely: coming to a halt very quickly without drama.
Cornering is pretty good, though there is a tendency for the car to roll a bit and understeer if you're going too fast. It definitely lets you know when you're approaching the limit though as you can feel the front sliding out a bit under tight corner and heavy acceleration.
The leather seats are fairly comfortable and ergonomics are really good for my 5' 7" and 140lb frame. Wind noise could be reduced.
Its durability is awesome. It has handled all of my occasional aggressive driving habits and never complained. I get 30 MPG if I shift at 3000 RPM and much much less if I shift at 8000 RPM.
The styling is a toss up. Sometime I like it, other times I don't. I love the way it drives though.
