We bought our Buick Regal knew and overall it has been very reliable. We never had to make any major repairs on it, just basic maintenance. This car has never had problems but I can feel it starting to die.
Recently our turn signals stopped staying on so when you want to show your turns you have to hold it down, but recently I found out that if you hit it up or down it'll stay in place. Our brakes are starting to wear away but I don't think it's the car, I think it's our fault for not maintaining the brakes, I will take a look at them soon. The brakes are very good and reliable, they are Anti-Lock Brakes.
The car has a powerful 205 horsepower and it's a V6. You can really feel the power when you push down on the gas, it's a heavy car though. But, for this much power, it gets a lot of gas mileage.
One of the biggest problems with my Buick is the CD player. You put in a CD, it makes some noises and it thinks there's no CD inside and it doesn't play. This happens frequently. CD's get stuck in there for days. Sometimes the CD player works, the CD always comes out, some take longer than others. This isn't just my car because I heard of someone else having this problem with their Buick.
The car is very safe and reliable and i feel comfortable in it. It has dual climate control, power windows, power locks, etc., etc. It has a remote door unlock/lock and a remote trunk lift. The trunk has lots of cargo space. This is a good family car, it's not flashy, but it's extremely comfortable, safe, the engine is practically silent, reliable, and it serves it's purpose very well.
