This truck is very dependable, cheap, and looks great (If you get the version with chrome.) Goes almost anywhere in 4wd; it is a pain to get out and lock the hubs when you need it, but we are getting so lazy these days, and such a utilitarian vehicle as this one barely suffers from this inconvenience. I drive this every day to work and back and I wish it were quieter in the cab, but this truck is not meant to be a luxury model. the AM/FM Cassette can barely be heard above the highway noise, while travelling 70 with one window open. In the snow and rain this truck drives normally with not as much spinout as you'd expect, and no hydroplaning at all. Mechanically my biggest beef is with the brakes, they have squeaked almost constantly since I bought the truck used 3 years ago, even after having new brakes installed. A dealer who checked it out for me said something to the effect of "It's just a squeaker, plain and simple."
