1997 Integra GS. I've owned it for over a year now with about 175 000 km on it today. The last 40 000 were driven by me so you can do the math and figure out how much I love driving it. The only problems I've had with this car were that one of my seat heaters stopped working and a piece of the exhaust pipe cover rusted and started vibrating, but my mechanic just took it off and said I dont need it because it only traps water which leads to rusting. The 2 things I love most about this car are the aerodynamics and handling. Unlike the new RSX, the Integra sits very low to the ground, and in combination with the wide wheels and sporty suspension, this is one of the best handling cars in its class. Even at speeds close to 200 km/h the car remains in good contact with the ground. The disc brakes are excellent, and together with ABS, they get you to a stop in even the worst weather conditions. The leather seats I have sometimes become uncomfortable on hot days and sometimes I regret not getting cloth, but otherwise the seating it not too bad. Another great thing I like about this car is that they come appart and come back together very easily, and a lot of the maintenance can be done in your own garage. This also gives you a lot of freedom to personalize your car. But don't mistake it for a toy, this car is yet very functional. The hatch with the rear seats folded fit everything I've ever needed to move, including 10 foot trees, home appliances, skis and just about anything else you can imagine. It drives through snow, but you wouldn't want to go deeper than 10 inches, else there's no getting out. A lot of people who own these put on winter tires, but I've survived through one whole Canadian winter without them so I think I could go through another.
