My family recently purchased a 1997 GMC Yukon. We bought this vehicle because of our growing family. We love the size and comfort. There is plenty of cargo space, which is important when taking a family of 5 on vacation. I have found the Yukon a joy to drive. I was a little leary at first since it is so big. Once you are on the road it feel just like driving a car. One disappointment is that it does not have a third seat. If you have a large family it would not be feasible to fit them all in. The trade off is that when there is a third seat there is no cargo space. A family of 5 fits quit comfortably in this vehicle. It also has plenty of power to pull that family boat. I believe this SUV would be to large for those without kids. Great SUV.
