I bought this truck four years ago. I wanted a vehicle that could pull my horse trailer, haul my dogs to dog shows, be 4-wheel-drive, and be of general all-purpose use. I have not been disappointed. It is fun to drive, has held up well, has had only one mechanical problem (a leak in the transfer case), and is comfortable to use. The previous owner and myself have cared for it well, and it now has almost 200,000 miles on it, and still looks great. It handles my two/three-horse trailer with ease, although I would be hesitant to pull anything much heavier. The rear seats are simple to fold up or down for versatile cargo hauling. I've had no problem navigating snowy or icy roads, and it does well in the rain and better than expected in the wind. My average MPG is 15 - 20 mpg depending on the ratio of city:highway use. I like the large V-8 motor for its power and for how easily it tackles hills, winds, heavy loads, and it has gotten me out of trouble caused by careless drivers more than once. This feels like a solid, safe vehicle to drive. I was recently married, and now my husband wants one too!
