Pros: Good till 36,000 miles
Cons: Not built to last past warranty
Was a good performer till the warranty expired at 36,000 miles. About 36,200 miles the intake manifold seal went out which was very expensive to fix. Next the EGR value went out, also expensive. Then the paint started peeling off the roof and hood along with having to take it in for various repairs every 2,000 or so miles. The truck was not a daily driver and was well cared for. I was very disappointed and decided the next time the engine light came on it was getting traded. And, of course, about 2 weeks after I said that it did come on again so bye-bye it went. Traded for a 2003 Toyota Tundra. Won't be buying another Ford anytime soon.
