Power, looks and comfort are all there

Product Rating: 4.0 Recommended: No

Pros: Power under the hood, luxurious multiple adjustment seating, great looks
Cons: Removable glass top very poorly constructed, squeaky and noisy
The Bottom Line: Drives like a dream, comfortable seats, lots of bells and whistles. My gripe is the glass roof squeaks and creaks - cannot be fixed even after 3 trips to dealership.

The Corvette is a great driving experience. Be prepared to spend money on maintaining it, though. With so many digital features, I would HIGHLY recommend spending the extra money for an extended warranty. As long as you find one that still has at least a month of factory warranty, you can purchase an extended warranty for about $1800, which will pay for itself quickly. Seats, steering wheel, dash displays are all expensive to repair due to the advanced functions. Tire replacement will cost you a small fortune, so check tread wear carefully on used car purchases. The Corvette will always be a fun car to drive, and you cannot fault Chevrolet on the manufacturing of it. Their design of the removable glass roof however, is pitiful. Squeaks and creaks abound even after replacement of the rubber gasket. Service tech at the Chevy dealer told me "they all do that...it's just a crappy design." If noise and creaking bothers you, perhaps consider the convertible or coupe model without the removable glass.
