Pros: Reliable, durable, well built, good looking, well equipped, good size
We lease trucks every four years. And in 1998, we leased a brand-new 1999 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCab with the base Triton V8. The lease was nearly up in 2002, when we knew we could never part with this car. We bought it, and there are no regrets. Its been flawless in reliability and mechanics, its engine may not be good on paper, but its reliable, well powered and durable. Its fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired, but its not poor quality. Its styling is great, its performance is great, its room is great, its transmission is great, its engine is great, its radio/stereo is great, no blind spots, no flaws in design, basically. Its the best truck ever built. No problems, and its been nearly a decade.
Its been through hell and back. From Connecticut to Alaska, going months with no maintanence. Its a true work truck, and is a friend.
