Pros: Practical, reliable, and fun to drive
Cons: Difficult to park, brake problems
I bought my truck new in 1999. It now has 70k miles on it. Through that time, I've mostly had minor problems. The lower back support on the driver's seat had to be replaced. The ignition coil went out and had to be replaced. And, the transmission went out at about 25k miles. All of those things were fixed under warranty and I've had few problems since. Except -- the brakes. The front rotors have warped three times and I've spent probably close to $1000 on fixing the brakes. Ford just can't seem to get its brakes quite right -- I had the same problem with my old Mustang and with my Thunderbird. Overall, it's an ok truck though and I'll probably drive it for another couple of years.
