Pros: Head turning design.
Cons: Limited aftermarket accessories

I bought this vehicle because it is without a doubt the best value in it's class. The price for performance puts it well ahead of the Boxster, MBZ SLK, and BMW Z3s.

The exterior is bound to go down as one of the most invigorating auto designs in history. The TT's interior appointments make you feel as if you strapped into a design gallery, well balanced aesthetically, the machined aluminum rings, the dash, the hideaway stereo system, it's all with in reach, easily understood and all switches/knobs have a quality feel. The climate control is beyond belief and doesn't rob the engine of it's ooomph.

The engine and trans match up well. 1st seems a little low and the transition to 2nd isn't that smooth under hard acceleration. The engine is smoooooth, no vibration or turbo lag on any part of the tach range.

The car corners as if it is attached to the pavement with velcro(r), not a squeal out of it yet, and I've been pushing it. You don't perceive the typical torque steer associated with FWD. You merely think about what you want to do and it just does it. The brakes are world class, 12 inch vented discs up from and 9" rears get this rocket to stop quick. The Xenon headlamps self level on undulating roads, and the washers come in handy.

Rear seats are useable for small kids, there's ample trunk space and with the seats folded forward you could do some wallet damage at Costco.

The recall tested many owner's initial love for the design. The application of the rear wing has grown on me even though it is major break from the smooth rear lines originally adored. There does seem to be more "noise" after the wing. The suspension was upgraded and made stiffer. The handling at high speed and on winding roads is an improvement over what I thought was perfect.

Recently drove back from Carmel at 110.....no ticket, invest in a detector.

I have allowed any and all of my car enthusiast friends (many of them M3 owners) to put it through it's paces and they all come back with a smile and words of praise.

Did I mention....I love this car!?!
