Recently, my husband and I bought a 2000 Windstar LX Van. I absolutely love this vehicle. It handles well and has plenty of power. We bought the Windstar with the 3.8 liter engine. Previously, we had driven another model with a 3.0 liter engine. It didn't have enough power and the road noise was awful. That's not the case with our Windstar though. It feels like you're driving a car, not a tin box which is often the case with vans. It looks good and has all the amenities needed. Right now is a great time to buy the Windstar Van. Ford is offering rebates and low-interest financing. We received $1,400 in rebates plus 2.9% financing. Such a deal! After years of driving a Geo Prism, I'm very happy with my Windstar and looking forward to taking a road trip with my family.
