We bought this vehicle because with two kids it was becoming increasingly difficult to go anywhere in comfort or have any storage space when we went shopping or to the grocery store. Subsequently, we purchased a 1999 Ford Windstar and have been very satisfied with it's performance to date. As a family, we love the space and rear headphones. Our second car is a luxury sedan, but we have garaged it to drive the Windstar because of the comfort and convienence.... The van handles well considering it's size and weight. We recommend this van to anyone who has children because of the size and the high safety ratings the Windstar received in crash tests recently. Our model doesn't have the side airbags, but for 300+ I think that we may add them in the future....Personally, we recommend this van but also after reading many bad ratings on this sight and others....we are also aware of some problems that can occur. Bottom line...good van for the price, but buyers always beware:)
