I had previously written a review on a 1995 Jimmy. Just recently we traded it in for a brand new 2000 Diamond Edition Jimmy. It looks exactly like the black and silver Jimmy shown above. We decided to trade it in for a new one due to the previous problems that I stated in my other opinion. Not only that, but the newer Jimmy's have higher ratings.

Yes.. we are completely in LOVE! The interior is just gorgeous! It's even softer leather.. and just look at the outside of the car.. it's sooo pretty! The truck has great options inside the car as well. The car came with an alarm, side window defrost, temperature/compass in the overhead, sunglasses and cd holder in the overhead, various lights for your own use in the overhead, and extended shade to protect you from the sun/glare, and it has a feature that keeps the radio playing until you open the door. Not only that but the car is so smart that it won't lock your door if you accidentally leave your keys in the car.. also.. if you have the radio on.. it automatically lowers the radio when the speed is reduced(like when you get off the freeway and get onto the street) and it puts it louder when you get on the freeway... IT DOES IT FOR YOU!

The car is well worth it's price even though it's pricey... but now a days.. everything is pricey. When we purchased our car... we were looking for a car that would last us for a really long time.. a car that we can take to the snow.. a car that we can put our bikes in and go to the park.. a car that we can even sleep in if we want to take a break from a long drive.. a car that is flexible for many occasions. This is the perfect car for all those things.

I did forget to mention that our car is 4X4.. it's not like we're going offroading in the mountains or anything but it's good to have for the snow. Also.. the leg room is good... it's not crammed at all unless you're really tall... but in that case.. if you're really tall, any car would seem crammed to you. Overall... I recommend this car to everyone. Since it is pricey.. I recommend that you finance it with a low interest rate with the dealer or search the internet for deals or go to places like autoweb that will set up an appointment with you and the fleet manager of the dealership.. and this is your best bet because the fleet manager does not work on commission.. they are there to help you.
