i bought this car brand new in May 2000 because of honda reputation for reliability and craftsmanship but also because at the time it had the best body line in its class (and beyond). for a 4 cyl, 150hp, she never lets me down in merging onto highway or quick starts. most people riding with me are surprised with such a quick pick-up for a little honda. but the best part is fuel efficiency on the 4 cyl... the tank seems bottomless.
i still love my car because it withstood new york city street beating all these years. it currently has 53,000 miles and my baby is like new. all i did was change oil and filter regularly, my mechanic took it upon himself to add whatever else was needed.... but other than that - bare minimum maintenance. which is why i bought the car in the first place. i'm just so happy i made the right decision with the body line because my black/black baby with tinted windows still turns heads.
the sweetest thing was paying it off last year. :)
