Shop around, read all the reviews, most people would agree that the odyssey is the best minivan available to date. But before you buy, ask the dealer if the problem with the power sliding door has been corrected. We bought our 2000 Odyssey EX in October 1999, we love everything about the van, except the power sliding doors. The doors doesn't always latch and the warning buzzer sometimes go off while driving, and the only way to turn it off is to stop the van, put it in park, then open and close the doors. This is not an isolated problem because the first time I took it to the dealer, there was another owner complaining about the same thing. So the dealer replaced the latches. Not too long after that, it was still having the same problem, so I took it back to the dealer and there was 4 other odysseys being check with the same problem.Guest what? it's still not fixed, need help from anybody who has solved the problem!
