Pros: American beauty! Fun to drive. Perfect size for my family.
Cons: American quality. Money pit. Parts are hard to find and expensive.
I was in love at first site. I had to have one. I have been disappointed from the day I purchased my 2000 Lincoln LS. Before I took it home the dealer had to order a new cup holder and seat belt height adjuster. One month later the headlights were fogged. Shorty thereafter the front passenger window stopped working. All of these were problems that could have been solved by Lincoln using durable parts, but instead they chose to assemble these cars with cheep plastic peaces. Recently the airbag light has came on and stayed, the car seems to be cutting out and I need to replace my second set of brakes in nine months. The aluminum paint has peeled off of the plastic interior door handles.
I still love my car but, I can not help to feel that I do not have the best car for my money. I wonder why American auto makers can not seem to get it together. I buy a new or used car every few years and out of the last ten, eight of them were Fords(five of which were new)and we have had the same types of problems with all eight autos.
I give where do I go to buy a Toyota or BMW?
