2001 SLK 320 Review

Pros: Ride, Acceleration, auto/manual shift
Cons: no CD included, luggage area small

The SLK 320 6 cylinder convertible is a wonderful car. We drove from Southern California to Las Vegas with the hard top down, and the A/C still made it comfortable in the 98 degree desert. When we did arrive at the casino, the 20sec speed of the top going up made every gamblers mouth drop.

Standing at 6 ft, the leather seats were very satisfactory with all the controls easy to reach. One of the best features is auto manual, shifting without a clutch, although while shifting in manual, it is difficult to see the gear number in the dash. Acceleration in this car will always puts a grin on your face to highway speeds and passing is a definite must.

My wife and I love the handling, silky ride, interior wood panels and eye catching exterior. We don't regret sacrificing luggage space, but overall you can't beat the fun of driving this little car.
