Cons: mirrors don't fold, no accessory power in trunk, cannot read speed above 140
The Bottom Line: A fast transportation platform with just enough style and comfort to enjoy it and look forward to driving it over and over again.

2000 Bonneville SE handles much better than 98 model that I had before. It feels steady and solid at any speed. It has more room than many higher-priced opponents, and a lot more features than you would expect. It has a bold design and looks sportier than many customized hot-rods on the road. Seats are firm and a bit uncomfortable, but once you get used to them, or even with the help of some covering or cushioning it becomes a luxurious cruiser. Last 3 months I've clocked 5000 miles and enjoyed every minute of it. The dependability of Bonnies is well known to me and this Bonnie is just the same. When I owned a 98, one summer my radiator hose broke. Imagine 90 degree heat + overheating engine + traffic in NYC. I went from 60th street in Manhattan all the way down to Coney Island. And the next day I paid 35 bucks to fix it and drove to work, listening to a wonderful roar of the best 3800 engine on earth! One of my friends now has the same 2000 SE and his alternator went dead on the highway. My friend drove his Bonneville 30 miles to his garage with almost no charge current on a dying battery, in snow/sleet conditions. It is true what they say - our cars break down a lot more than japanese ones. But our cars are like tanks and keep going! The truth is, once your Nissan breaks down, you pay all the money that is usually spend on a GM car over 4 years. So it all evens out. Nevertheless, my Pontiac is still all-original, without a single repair, except brakes and oil. So there you go, all-American quality at its best. I strongly recommend it - as a work horse, and as a fun-to-drive sports sedan.
