This car is a "best pick" by the Insurance Institute for safety recommendations. Add that to extremely reliable and excellent comfort -- you get the Toyota Camry. I can't say enough good about this car. My clients are always amazed at how solid the car is and often remark on its quietness. On a recent road trip I averaged 32 mpg. The car is put together very well, I've never asked "Why did they (manufacturer) do that?" The 4-cylinder pulls its own and the transmission is extremely smooth. A very good powerplant in my opinion. When using cruise control, the car doesn't hesitate to downshift to make it up a steep grade. My only complaint is a dimly lit trunk.
