I purchased my 2001 Dodge Dakota extended cab for $176/month with $3000 down. I really am enjoying the ride in this truck. Its a great truck for working and throwing large items in the bed. It also serves as a great driving truck with the smooth ride and convienent features. The only thing I dont like is the limited amouth of leg room in the rear seat. I mean you can fit 2 adults in the back but the leg room is a little crampy. I basicly use this space for groceries and the like. Sometimes I think I should have bought the quad cab but the price differance was too much for me to swallow. It has a great cruising experiance on long stretches. I kick in the cruise control and the smooth ride begins! It has great gas mileage and the pick up speed is fantastic. I opted for the 3.9 Magnum V6. I also like the placement of the center console. Not only is there adequate room in there but it also makes a great armrest! So I have to say all in all I believe this is a great truck for the money. Weather you plan on using this on a work site or just want to use it for a cruising vehicle this definately makes a great truck. Even with all the options the truck comes to 25,000 which cant be beat! Buy American!
