I recently bought a brand new sporty Dodge Dakota. Driving home in the luxerious and large four-door cab was great! until I decided to hit the pumps.
Unsuspectingly I inserted the nozzle and watched the price go up...up...and up. It ended up costing $53.00 (cnd). Fine enough I figured I will be able to live.
Then came my first actually load. I went to Home depot and picked up the piece of plywood for my new shed, and it didn't fit! Another trouble I had was that wind would come in the driver's side window. I have serviced this 3 times and replaced the weather strip, yet there is still the annoying sound. I think this proves that the Dodge Dakota is made of poor quality.
Annoyed with my new truck which had bad gas mileage and a small truck bed I listed it in the auto trader. Plenty of Calls!!!!! FOR ABOUT 60% of the price I had payed for it only 8 weeks earlier.
I have three major complaints about the 2001 Dodge Dakota which I hope will help you: Bad gas mileage, Small truck bed (basically not functional), and massive depretiation.
I would recommend that you would buy the new GM coming out, because the Dakota only gets 13 miles/galonine, but the new GM will be getting 30 miles/galonine, and still has the same awsome sporty look. Good Luck!
