I have had my Dakota for about a year now and really like it. My 16 year old son is always wanting to borrow it as he says it is a "Babe Magnet". Take that for whatever you want as I think he means the teenage girls really like it.
I have the regular CD/Infinity sound system in this truck and it really sounds great. I have heard the sound systems in the Chevy and Ford and they don't even come close to the rich sound that emits from my Dakota. The ride is so much smoother than any other 4x4 in it's class. The fit and finish is surprisingly good and can hold its own in quality with the Japanese competition too. I really like the size of the Dakota. It is not nearly as small as the other mini trucks but not as big as a full size. It is like "Baby Bear's porridge: Just Right. I'm not a car salesman, far from it, but I would beg anyone who is looking for a 4x4 to check out the Dakota in their search, it is a surprising bargain and great ride.
