Didn't go for the 4.0, huh? Did you test drive it? I hear it's quite impressive. I tried out one with the 5 speed automatic and the new 4.0, and I was a bit disappointed. The automatic seemed to have qutie a few more gears than it knew what to do with and kept getting caught in the wrong gear for the given situation. Oh well. I still love my '95 regular cab, 70,000 miles as of yesterday with not one signle break-down. Rangers for life!

My brother is going to college in Montana in the fall and wanted to trade in his Camero for something that would be more suitable. I sent him the url of your review even tho he swears he wouldn't like a Ford. Your review made it sound quite good.
