I liked my internet guy. . . (Reply to this comment)
by jckatz
I was playing around with the New Hybrid cars, I didn't really want to buy one, but I sure did want to drive one. I used the internet to get a free drive to a dealership (In another county), and test drove it.
They sure wouldn't do what you need doing, but I found the internet a great way to find, hard to find cars.

nice review, as usual (Reply to this comment)

Based upon my somewhat limited experience, I do think you can have a better experience overall by going thru the internet commerce/fleet sales dept. They tend to realize that you're on the net & thus more aware of prices, and for us it seemed like the sales people were less obnoxious.
Good luck with your search for the perfect ride:)

Our workhorse family 1995 Windstar.... (Reply to this comment)
by NFP
...with 70,000+ miles on it continues to run like a top. Nowhere near as complete and convenient a package as the newer Windstars, this first generation Ford van has nonetheless proven that it holds up even under rough treatment, early reviews of electric system problems notwitstanding. (Ours were cleared up...finally, after several repair visits...under warranty a few years back).
I would imagine the new improved ones like the 2001 model you reviewed would be a good buy.
Good post.
