My Best Sports Car, Ever

Recommended: Yes
Pros: Styling, handling, power, reliability.
Cons: Graunchy transmission, clutch issues
The Bottom Line: If a pure, wind-in-the-face performance sports car is what is needed and you don't have the salary of CEO or major league sports star, this is the one.

I have owned several models of Porsches and a handful of Mustangs. The Honda S2000 is the best all-around performance car I have ever had. It combines the power, handling and style reflecting Honda's racing efforts along with the reliability and quality expected of the marque. Despite the cheesy stereo, plastic rear window and limited usefulness of only 2 seats it never ceases to bring a smile even used as a commute vehicle. I am a bit disappointed in the variety of strange noises that continue to come from the clutch and transmission despite an extensive factory repair (at Honda expense). But it still pleases like no other vehicle I have owned.
Amount Paid (US$): 32,740
