I recently got married to a guy with a new Corvette. The car had little to do with the decision, but I've learned a lot about cars from him, and I've learned to appreciate the Corvette.

Face it, guys like to look good and drive fast in cars, and girls usually don't mind if they do. But if you're impressed by foreign names and high price tags, you've probably overlooked the fastest, best car on the road - the Corvette. No other sports car compares to it's speed and ability to handle the road, they are just more expensive. I can't tell you how depressed guys look after being left in the dust by a 50,000K American sports car. Especially when their cars cost double or more the price. They may have a more exotic look, but if you know anything about sports cars, they definitely are wasting their money.

The corvette isn't just for guys either. If I'd have known how easy it was to get a man's attention by driving this car, I'd have bought one long ago and been married sooner - I know it.

So, next time you see someone in an ultra expensive sports car from Italy or Japan or wherever, feel sorry for them. They got taken. If you want speed and handling, buy American. Get a Corvette. My husband opted for a Z06 - the fastest of the Corvettes and virtually a street ready race car - which only comes with a stick shift, but I've tested the automatic. You barely can tell the difference. These things move! and girls, you can buy a wind breaker attachment that sits behind the seats, virtually invisible, to keep your hair from moving around when you meet all those guys.

If you're looking for fun and want to meet guys, get a Corvette.
