Pros: Good gas mileage, power locks/windows, good sized family sedan.
Cons: Noisy, small trunk, speaker quality isn't that good, definitely not a powerhouse.
Currently, I own the vehicle (2002 Daewoo Leganza) and have for about year now and overall it's been a pretty decent compact car. I've had a few hiccups with the brakes and the engine (timing belt), but since then I've gotten both replaced and haven't had any further problems. This is a perfect family sedan, with an appealing and comfortable interior. Good gas mileage as well, I get about 25 on the highway and about 18-20 in the city. A bit noisy on the inside, especially on the interstate, otherwise, it's a very quality and efficient car with power locks, seats, windows and optional sunroof, ABS, leather and automatic climate control. The ride quality is average, but the acceleration is a bit rough especially if you accelerate quickly. Also, the stock speaker system isn't very good, but it is still very decent and manageable. Overall, it is a very decent car (some say it is luxury, but I don't think it's quite there) and I definitely recommend it. Automatic transmission comes standard on the CDX model, and manuel comes on the base model SE. 2002 is the last year that Daewoo will sell models in the U.S. http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/2002-daewoo-leganza.htm is the consumer guide for this vehicle.
