2002 GMC Denali XL and Denali

by aurea: Written: Apr 02 '02

Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Excellent agility and handling, perfect style and long list of ammenities.
Cons: None so far, except for gas milage.
The Bottom Line: I stongly recommend this SUV, for any type of family or livestyle. Denali is truly the Escalade "Sport"!

With the Yukon Denali and Yukon Denali XL, surprisingly agile handling is only the beginning. A uniquely designed interior and a variety of amenities give them their own distinctive character. For example, super soft leather seats, their broad range of adjustability and the power lumbar support is magnific. Black cherry woodgrain imitation surrounds the instrument panel. I most admit this woodgrain is very convincing and the looks are better than the one of real wood. Standard features include On-Star with a premium Bose audio system and programable Homelink system-make the Yukon Denali nad yukon XL Denali the best combination of agility and refinement. Think of it as the Cadillac Escaled "SPORT". The so called Bose "Acoustimass" music system wiht a custom tailored acoustic designed provides unsurpassed listening pleasure. The steering wheel provides duplicate audio controls which give you immediate control of the system. A powerfull 320hp V8 Vortec engine and smooth shifting, electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission give you the ability to cut through traffic with confidence. Full time all wheel drive helps you mantain traction an all kinds of road and weahter conditions, 17 inch wheels helps deliver the power to the road. A sophisticated suspension system called Autoride automatically senses different driving conditions and adjust the suspension to compansate. The 4 speed automatic transmisson that comes standard on Yukon Denali and Denali XL includes the Tow/Haul mode. This unique feature gives the transmission a dual-mode shift programs that can hold gears longer to put more torque where it's needed. It helps reduce hunting between gears when clinbing hilss. You may also get a Rear seat video sytem. This video player system features an overhead flat display panel, an infrared remote control, two wireless headphones and plug in ports for video games
