We bought the 2002 Olds Alero in February. Since we've had it - it's proven to be a badly built bland vehicle.

Since we've had it...(6months)
-All the paint off the radio knobs have worn off
-There is a continual 'clunk' when you make a turn or go over a bump. 2 seperate gm shops can't seem to get it.
-the windows have long vertical scratches on them from poor quality construction - they rub up against the inside of the doors.
-the sunroof leaked after 3months

On top of these doozies,
- Gas mileage is terrible
- Acceleration is non-existent - for a V6 it feels like you're riding a snail's back down the highway
-there are blindspots
- the gas tank is only 50Litres so you need to fill it up every 3 days.
-the foglights are better served as decoration than for any other use
-boring ride.
-seats make long drives impossible
-oldsmobile is gone in 5 yrs.
