6 Years and Still Going Strong!

by katmacd: Written: Jul 27 '08

Product Rating: 5.0 Recommended: Yes

Pros: Reliable, dependable, affordable, nice looking.
Cons: Dents easy.
The Bottom Line: Yes, this is the most reliable car I've had so far.

I bought this car in 2002 as an used formal rental. I have the 2 door version. Since then, the only things I have had to do for it are routine maintenance like new tires, oil changes, brakes, etc. The air conditioner still works great which is a must here in Texas. It's six years old and doesn't leak a thing either! I've driven this car halfway across the country twice and it is fairly comfortable on long drives. It's also great on gas. Radio is not half bad either. Also, for a small car you can really fit a lot of stuff into it. Just yesterday I was able to bring home some 8ft pieces of lumber home by putting the back seat down. The back seats are a little small, but no one rides in the back of mine so it's not a problem. It's definitely not a family car, but if it's just going to be you and another passenger most of the time it's great. The only thing I've noticed about this car is it seems to get an unusual number of dings and door dents. I don't know if the metal is just thin or just my bad luck though.
