Very well written review...but.... (Reply to this comment)

I have to say this is one of the better reviews I've read recently. I like the bolding added for emphasis, and there were very few errors in spelling.

However I disagree with you very strongly on the conclusion of the review. I recently had a 2002 Saturn S-series as a rental and it was AWFUL! My current car is a 1994 Infiniti G20, but I am no stranger to economy cars as my previous car was a 1991 Nissan Sentra.

My Sentra had many more options and a much more "quality" feel to it than the Saturn did. But it was a 1991, and just so we're comparing apples to apples, I'll talk about the 2002 Sentra I've test-driven recently.

The Sentra's fit and finish was miles above that of the Saturn. The Saturn had the cheapest, roughest plastic I've ever seen comprising the majority of the interior. The seat support and comfort were lacking. Nothing was power, except the steering. Not the seats, not the windows, not the doors....and worst of all, when I pulled the driver's interior door handle to get out, the surrounding panel detached itself from the door entirely.
With the Sentra the plastic was of a much higher caliber, and there were more stowage cubbies for things like sunglasses, snacks, etc. Mirrors were power. The ride was also much better than that of the Saturn, which felt awkward.
Additionally, the Saturn has some of the worst sound damping I've experienced. The engine noise was washed out, making it sound tinny. The road and wind noise, however, were allowed to blast into the cabin. Contrast this to what you WANT in a car, which is no road and wind noise, and an engine that sounds like it has balls.
I don't want to write an entire review here, but in summary the Saturn S-series was definitely the worst car I've ever test-driven, even in that price range.

I hope, however, that yours work out for you, and that you continue to write reviews such as this one.

Thanks Gary!

I tell you though I have been 2buzy to respond! My daughter had to go to the hospital so I've been there until we brought her home. Haven't even touched a computer for days!

Thanks for the comment!

we have a Saturn and we were THRILLED to get it at 4.5% financing I think we would have danced right there if they'd offered us 0%!

Another great review!
