A cousin of mine came to my wedding in Italy and bought a 530 from the factory in Germany to have it shipped to the USA. It's a very nice car!
BMW's really aren't my thing, but you can save a lot of money and get better choice by buying a US-spec one directly from the factory. They offer some nice tours as well. I am sure you know this, but knowing someone who did it I can tell you it was a positive experience!

Thanks for the feedback. Changed "most recent" to "2003" since they've changed the wagon to match the new 2006 look. (My wife's verdict: "Mine's cuter.")
I haven't had a chance to test drive the 2006 330 yet. It's on the top of my list along with the new IS 350. I'll definitely be test driving both early next year. (With a new baby due in Oct, there's just too much other stuff to do!)

Great review, especially considering this is only your second. One error: this is no longer the "most recent" design. Have you had a chance to check out the 2006 yet?
