88,000+ miles on our '03 and only 1 problem, one of the door sensors isn't registering the door closed, so the light stays on indicating a door open and the interior lights don't come on. Kind of a minor thing, but annoying.
About 85,000 I changed the transmission fluid and put in Schaeffer's. Holy Cow!! We thought it shifted smooth before, but now the only way you know is to watch the RPM's.
We drive the snot out of it as can be figured with a little math, 88,000 miles in 4 years. We upgraded from a Taurus as the kids are getting bigger and all of our family is out of state we do a bit of traveling.
My sis-in-law has a 2000 and they only get 17mpg, no matter what. We get 18 in the winter and up to 24 in the summer.
We have the LX Plus. Not basic, but enough things for us. We only have the optional rear air and CD/cassette. It has the nicer rims and Michelin tires. I finally replaced those @ 82,000 and went with the same.
We take out the rear bench at parades, fireworks, whatever for momma & I to sit comfortably. We got the 2 bench seats and take out the middle one and move the larger rear one up for trips where we expect to return with more than we brought.
