We bought this car brand new and haven't looked back since. It's a nice, stylish sedan that you don't mind taking other people out in and it also has a sporty feel to it and accelerates quickly when you need it to. It's great on gas, which has been essential when the gas prices soar. We have the LX, manual.
We've had a couple of small annoying problems that are apparently common in these cars, but the dealership fixed them for free. One was the driver's side window would go down fine, but then would come back up incredibly slowly. Apparently there was a problem with the weather stripping where salt and dirt would get down in there. The other problem was the suspension had to be replaced, which is again apparently common in Honda's, but Honda recognizes it and replaced it with a new kind, free of charge. I gather this has all been fixed in more recent models.
Overall, the car has been great and we've driven it hard, putting on nearly 200,000 kms / 124,000 mi in under 5 years. It has consistently performed, it's got great torque and handling and is easy on the wallet for gas consumption. The body and interior still look practically new, even with having a baby and the occaisional dog in there. The trunk has ample space and the rear seat has a decent amount of leg room, even for an adult.
One thing I would definitely recommend in colder climates is winter tires. We initially only used 4-season tires year-round but found with the car being as light as it is and having such high torque, we were often spinning the tires at intersections and didn't have the best traction. With winter tires, it performs great in the snow. No complaints about handling on summer roads.
