I purchased my used 2003 Civic w/ 28,000 miles on it from a local dealership. I was a little wary about purchasing a used car from a private individual, and the dealer provided me with a warranty at no cost, so I felt reassured. I also had m mechanic check the car out prior to purchase just to be sure that it would be fine. My family has always purchased Honda's, and their reliability has been nothing short of spectacular. My Civic has been no different. I've been driving it for about a year, a few long trips, but mostly city driving. It has given me absolutely no problems and has shown no signs of wear or tear. It's been averaging about 26 mpg in town and about 37 on the highway, which I'm happy with. It's big enough to comfortably transport 4 normal sized adults, but 5 is definitely a stretch. The trunk is surprisingly large for a car of its size and the factory cd player works fine. I really have no complaints about the car whatsoever. It's been very good to me, and hopefully it will continue to be if I'm good to it. If you're looking for an extremely practical, economical car then this is definitely the car for you.
