The 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid is one of the best cars I have ever driven. It's very quiet, fun to drive, and gets incredible fuel mileage. I really like the CVT transmission, you never feel it shift. The price is a little higher at first but when you take into consideration the $2,000 tax break you get for buying a hybrid, it's well worth the money. I filled up the other day for $14.50 (1.24/gal.) and got 550 miles from that tank of gas. I'm getting anywhere between 46-50 mpg and 80% of that is highway. It's also great because there is plenty of room for everything, a big trunk, 4 doors, and with no middle hump in rear floorboard 3 people can comfortably ride. This is just an awesome car if you drive a lot of miles and looking to save money on gas.
