Pros: Strong sales force
Cons: Poor service, many mistakes, slow response, moderate costs, only okay reporting materials
The Bottom Line: The worst service provider we use for our small business. They did a good sales job, but I am switching back to Intuit.

I recently switched to ADP from Intuit Payroll. I was sold on the fact that they handle the workers comp insurance and get lower rates for that.
However, I have to say I was with Intuit for over 3 years without a single problem. I have been with ADP now for about 6 months and have encountered about 5 major issues. The two most significant being that one payroll they simply didn't fund and my employees didn't get their direct deposits (took about 4 hours of my time to get fixed). (They credited me 1 free payroll for all the work).
Today, I am dealing with the workers comp issue. They have been taking the premium from my payroll every payroll, but haven't funded our insurance provider so now I am being cancelled. I have called 5 times on this issue and have only been able to get one person to respond and that person doesn't seem to see much urgency with the issue. They say they have forwarded the question on to the insurance provider and will get back me whenever they can. Not a great response and I have been emailing and phoning every number and contact I have for the last day hoping to get someone to assist in the resolution. Again a ton of my time where there is nothing we did that triggered it on our part.
Overall, I have been so horribly unimpressed I am switching back (again a fair amount of work), but I think worth it.
