Pros: Really can't think of any, their ineptitude has cost me days lost on the job
Cons: See above.
The Bottom Line: Don't use them unless you have to. My company has used them since I can remember and the service has always been unreliable and unapologetic.

| cak1's Full Review: DHL USA Overnight |
My company unwisely has decided to use DHL as their main shipper for air and ground shipments under 150 lbs weight.
Over the years that I have been forced to use them to ship my tools, they have lost them for up to a week at a time. Once I shipped from San Francisco to LA and the tools were lost for 4 days. The customer service rep on the 4th day told me they were still trying to track them down, I opened my front door about 15 minutes later and lo and behold, there they were. Lately I shipped 6 cases overnight on a Tuesday for Wednesday delivery to a job in San Antonio from Omaha. By Friday, my tools still had not shown up. I was forced to go out and buy some tools so I could get work done over the weekend. Wonder how much we "saved" by using DHL. The tools did eventually show up, but by then most of my work was done. I heard every excuse from we merged two sort locations, the weather, Hurricane Katrina, and we're short-handed. The plain fact is that they just aren't equipped to do the job. If you are not in a hurry or don't really care when it gets there, or if your company has an account with them, then use DHL. Otherwise, use FEDEX or someone else. Common carrier is quicker.
