Fed up with Fed Ex

Pros: can't find any at this point.
Cons: The don't show up when they say they will !
The Bottom Line: I gave a rating of 3 on punctuality and damaged goods, because one poor experience as an over all opinion on services performed by the company.

We ordered two cell phones from cingular wireless! Cingular paid Fed Ex for domestic two day shipping. We were given a tracking number and told the package was loaded onto the delivery truck at 7:30am on June 11 in Kxoxville TN approximately less than a one hour from our home we were quoated a delivery time of 4:30pm. after no delivery we started calling Fed Ex only to be told the driver could not locate our house. Our home is located in one of the prominate subdivisions in the town so if the driver had taken a moment to stop to ask for directions any one could have told him where the street was located!. they tried to make it appear to be our fault the driver could not locate a red brick house with big bold street numbers on the front of the door. My husband offered to meet the driver half way from their office, but they wouldn't even agree with those terms! They wanted us to drive to their drop off point over and hour away and their offices closed 50 minutes from that moment! They first told us, the would meet us in another town still over 20 miles away because Fed Ex didn't deliver to our city on Saturday. Fed Ex is the company that is spending an untold amount of money on a television advertising campaign claiming we show up when we say we will be there What ever happened to Truth in advertising???. Fed Ex also tried to pull one on us saying perhaps we missed them. Neither my husband nor myself has left the house all day. Granted had someone knocked on the door with us in a different part of the house our terrier and schnauzer would have barked loud enough to wake those sleeping in the cemetary down the street. so we are certain that no Fed Ex delivery person was at our house today, Speaking with Cingular wireless late this evening , they too were very disappointed at the performance of Fed Ex
