FedEx sucks. Their drivers are among the laziest people on the face of the planet. They must need assisted respiration to even breathe. What's the point of getting my package here in 2 days, if you're only going to stick around long enough to ring the doorbell and then leave?
When the US Postal Service guys come around, they leave my packages by the door...we're in a safe neighborhood, I don't mind that my package is outside my door.
When the FedEx guys come, it's a crapshoot. Sometimes they drop it off, but most of the time, they'll knock rapidly once, and then take off with my package. There was one time I was asleep in the room closest to the door. I heard the doorbell ring, and I went to see who it was.
By the time I got from my bed to the door (around 10 feet) the FedEx guy had already hopped into his car and driven off with my package. They must have like, Carl Lewis delivering packages, or I should say not deliviering their packages.
So I call the customer service lady to tell the fool to turn his damn car around and drop off my package. She says she will. So I wait...2 hours later no package...I guess these FedEx trucks make REALLLLLLLY wide turns or something. So we call back and ask about the package...apparently, the guy went back and dropped it off at the FedEx center, and I have to go pick it up now. What a jerk! I'm guessing he didn't deliver anything that day. Just knocked on 40 doors, and drove back in to work.
Another time, my roommate goes to check the mail and comes back. He sees a FedEx guy leaving the apartment, and so he tries to flag him down. Does the FedEx guy stop? No! I thought I told you that we don't stop!
So, the next day I put out the stupid little "please leave my package at the door" sign out there, and the FedEx guy comes back with my package...and IGNORES THE SIGN. If my roommate wasn't home, I wouldn't have gotten the package again.
Hell...what the heck happened to customer service in this business? UPS, FedEx...these guys are supposed to make a living on delivering your packages...but you have to be home to get them...and have reflexes like a jungle cat. You'd be better off having a friend drive to the sender and pick up your package.
